Our Story
FinanceFigure was born out of frustration. When I first started working and earning a salary, I had no idea how to invest, how much tax I was paying, or how a home loan actually worked. The financial advice available online was either too complex, full of jargon, or clearly written by someone who was trying to sell me something.
I spent months reading about personal finance — textbooks, research papers, SEBI documents, tax guides — and slowly built up a practical understanding of how money works in India. I realized that most people don't have the time or inclination to do this research, yet they make crucial financial decisions every day.
FinanceFigure is my attempt to package that knowledge into something genuinely useful: clear articles written in plain English, accurate financial calculators that work for Indian scenarios (INR, Indian tax laws, Indian financial instruments), and honest analysis without any product pushing.
We are not affiliated with any bank, mutual fund house, or insurance company. We don't earn commissions for recommending products. Our revenue comes from display advertising, which means our incentive is simply to provide good content that people want to read.
